I’m Lynn Johnsen, your Boca Bayou condo guide and a year-round Boca Raton resident. July in Boca Raton is peak summer — warm nights, open beaches, and a calendar that delivers for every age group. From Fourth of July fireworks and a beloved food festival to free concerts and family theatre, here’s everything happening in Boca Raton in July 2026.
July 2026 Events Boca Raton: Fabulous Fourth Celebration – July 4
Boca Raton celebrates Independence Day in style with the annual Fabulous Fourth Celebration at Countess de Hoernle Park and Spanish River Athletic Facility (1000 NW Spanish River Blvd). Gates open at 5:30 PM with live music, food vendors, games, and activities for the whole family. Then at 9 PM, one of the largest fireworks shows in South Florida lights up the sky. Also, the event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) with complimentary shuttle service starting at 5 PM. No coolers, pets, or outside alcohol permitted on site. This is a Boca tradition — and one of the best ways to spend the Fourth right in our backyard.
Boca Burger Battle – Saturday, July 11
Florida’s longest-running burger competition is back. The 13th Annual Boca Burger Battle — A Grilling Affair! takes over Sanborn Square Park (72 N Federal Highway) on Saturday, July 11, 2026. VIP doors open at 6 PM, General Admission at 7 PM. Your all-inclusive ticket covers unlimited burgers, craft beer, wine, spirits, and live music all night. South Florida’s top chefs go head-to-head for burger supremacy — and past winners have gone on to national recognition, including features on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. This is a 21+ event and it has sold out in previous years. Get your tickets now at bocaburgerbattle.com.
The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County at Willow Theatre – July 11
Same day, great option for families. Atlantic Coast Theatre for Youth presents “The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County” at Willow Theatre inside Sugar Sand Park (300 S Military Trail). Mark Twain’s classic short story comes to life through folk-art puppetry, music, and colorful characters from the California Gold Rush. The show runs 45 minutes with no intermission, rated G. Showtimes are 11 AM and 1 PM. Tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for kids 12 and under. After the show, a patio party with free kids’ activities and a food truck awaits.
Free Concert at Mizner Park: Bob Marley Tribute – July 17
One of the best nights of the summer series. On Friday, July 17, Yvad & The Legal Roots take the stage at Mizner Park Amphitheater (590 Plaza Real) for a free Bob Marley tribute. Yvad is the former lead singer of The Wailers band — this isn’t a typical tribute act. Expect 90 to 120 minutes of hits including No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds, Buffalo Soldier, Redemption Song, and much more. Free, outdoors, and one of those summer nights in Boca Raton you’ll remember. Bring a chair and arrive early.
Peace of Woodstock Band at Mizner Park – July 31
Close out July on a high note. On Friday, July 31, Peace of Woodstock Band performs at Mizner Park Amphitheater as part of the free Summer in the City series. The show takes you on a musical journey through the legendary 1969 Woodstock festival — from Richie Havens opening to Jimi Hendrix closing, with songs from Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Who, Janis Joplin, Santana, Joe Cocker, Jefferson Airplane, and many more. Also free, also outdoors, also Boca at its summer best.
