Hi. What are my three favorite holiday events in Boca Raton? The answer right after this.
We may not have snow here in Boca Raton, but we still enjoy our holiday happenings amongst the many. Here are three of my favorite holiday events in Boca Raton.
The first of my favorites is an event held at Meisner Park, generally the third Saturday of November. It’s called Light the Lights. The Holiday Festival begins at 6:00 PM with a holiday stage show snow flurries photos with Santa and a giant snow globe, and so much more. The night ends with the traditional tree lighting.
My second favorite is the Holiday Street Parade generally held the first Wednesday of December. The annual Holiday Street Parade begins at 7:30 PM and features more than 70 floats and groups, which entertain viewers as they bring dancing, lighting, and music to Federal Highway in downtown Boca.
The last of my favorites is the Holiday Boat Parade, generally the third weekend of December. It begins at 6:30 PM on the north end of Boca Raton, and lights up the waterways of the Intercoastal, traveling south to the Hillsboro Bridge. There are public viewing areas along the way. Entry is free and prizes are awarded to winners and several categories. If you’d like more information on this event or any others, you can check out the City of Boca Raton website.
