I’m Lynn Johnsen, your Boca Bayou condo guide. April events in Boca Raton are stacking up fast this year. The weather is perfect, the snowbirds are still here, and the calendar stretches from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach. Plus, Easter falls early this month. That means something for families, couples, and everyone in between. Here’s what I’m watching.
Easter Weekend in Boca Raton – April 5, 2026
Easter is April 5, and South Florida delivers. First, families will love the City of Boca Raton’s Easter in the Park. It’s a neighborhood staple with age-group egg hunts, lawn games, and the Easter Bunny. Also, the Galleria Fort Lauderdale runs Easter Bunny photos through April 4. They offer sensory-friendly hours and KIDZ BOP Bunny Dance Parties too.
For adults, Las Olas Oceanside Park hosts a Spring Fling on Easter Sunday. There’s a farmers market, live music, and a casual beach vibe. Meanwhile, if you want something low-key, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center on North Ocean Boulevard is always a great call. Sea turtles, a coastal boardwalk, and free general admission. It’s one of Boca’s best-kept secrets.
64th Annual Delray Affair – April Events Boca Raton Area
The weekend after Easter, the Delray Affair takes over Atlantic Avenue in Downtown Delray Beach. It’s one of the top April events near Boca Raton and one of the Southeast’s biggest outdoor art and crafts festivals. Over 500 artists fill seven city blocks. Admission is free. Plus, it runs Friday through Sunday, so there’s no rush. It’s a short drive up A1A and well worth the trip.
Two Big April Events: Tortuga Music Festival & Boca Bacchanal
The April 10–12 weekend is hard to choose from. Down in Fort Lauderdale, the Tortuga Music Festival takes over Fort Lauderdale Beach. Three days of country, rock, and roots music. The 2026 headliners are Post Malone, Kenny Chesney, and Riley Green. Also on the bill: Tyler Hubbard, Dwight Yoakam, Colbie Caillat, and The Fray. Kids under 10 get in free with a ticketed adult. And every ticket supports ocean conservation through the Rock the Ocean Foundation.
If wine is more your speed, the 23rd Annual Boca Bacchanal runs the same weekend. It opens with Vintner Dinners on April 9 and 10. These are intimate five-course meals in private Boca homes, paired with celebrated winemakers. Then, on Sunday April 12, the Grand Tasting takes over The Addison at 2 E Camino Real. From 1–4 PM, guests sample 200-plus wines, Champagnes, craft beers, and spirits. Tickets start at $175. All proceeds benefit the Boca Raton Historical Society. For anyone in southeast Boca, The Addison is practically around the corner.
Alabama Shakes at Sunset Cove – April 29, 2026
Finally, close out the month with Alabama Shakes at Sunset Cove Amphitheater right here in Boca Raton. Brittany Howard is one of the best live performers in rock. Soulful, raw, and commanding. Doors open at 6 PM. Showtime is 7 PM. Support comes from Lamont Landers. Tickets are available through AXS. Sunset Cove is an open-air gem that locals love—and visitors rarely know about.
