One of the easiest and most effective ways to personalize a space is by using color. If you rent in Boca Bayou, add color and personality with throw rugs, pillows, and window treatments; for condo owners or buyers, painting brightens and customizes.
On-Trend Colors for Your Boca Bayou Home
Benjamin Moore Paints selected a shade called First Light as their Color of the Year for 2020.
Benjamin Moore describes their Color of the Year 2020, First Light 2102-70, as a fresh, revitalizing rosy hue on their website.
Last fall, AD PRO gained insight into the rationale behind the choice from Andrea Magno, Benjamin Moore’s director of color marketing and development. She noted, “When you look at color over time, there is often a direct relationship between what shades are popular and what is happening in the world. At the brink of 2020, it was just thought, ‘Let’s be upbeat; let’s be happy.’”
In contrast, Sherwin-Williams took a different direction for its 2020 Color of the Year, selecting Naval, a close cousin of navy blue. Sue Wadden, the company’s director of color marketing, explained, “It is reminiscent of the night sky, which people have looked to for centuries for guidance, as a muse, and as a reminder to live more mindfully.”
Architectural Digest noted that despite choosing a different color than First Light, Sherwin-Williams still acknowledged the current pale pink trend. They stated, “For the HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams collection, the company named Romance, a soft, dusty shade of pink, its 2020 pick.”
If you’re considering selling your home in Boca Raton’s Boca Bayou, a fresh coat of paint in a neutral or trendy shade might attract potential buyers. However, if you’re thinking of painting the Boca Bayou condominium you call home, any shade you choose will be the Color of the Year for 2020!
